Required Data Access Components:
* To reduce the download size, MDAC components are excluded from the
JobQuote installation package.
This application uses a Microsoft Access database, it therefore requires certain files, that enable database access. These components are products of Microsoft, they are free and can be downloaded from the
URL listed at the bottom of this page.
You can download the required files from the links below.
If these data access components are already installed on your computer, they do not need to be installed again (many applications can use the same set of components).
Including these components would increase the size of this package by about 8 MB.

Microsoft Data Access Components:
This application requires MDAC 2.5 or greater.
mdac_typ.exe (7.75 MB)
Note: MDAC 2.5 includes the JET components required for Microsoft Access databases.
However, MDAC versions 2.6 and 2.7 do not include the JET components, so the current Jet 4.0 service pack must be installed seperately. Use Windows Update or see the microsoft site to get the correct version for your version of Windows.
Windows 95:
To install MDAC on Windows 95, you must first install DCOM95.

Windows 2000 and Windows XP:
Windows 2000 and XP both ship with a newer version of MDAC included. This version of MDAC does not include the JET components required for Microsoft Access databases. So you may need the Jet 4.0 Service Pack.
MDAC and the JET 4 components, and DCOM95 are free and can be downloaded separately at the Microsoft website.
